Bartender - Job Description and Responsibilities
Overview
As Bartender you will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the bar and its patrons.
Bartenders are encouraged to create new and innovative concoctions while maintaining bar
operations, sanitation and support to other departments of service. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not
limited to the following.
Minimum Requirements
•Must be able to Stand and Walk for Extended Periods of Time
•Ability to Handle Stress Well
•Ability to Multitask
•Clear Communication Skills, Adaptability & Problem-Solving
•Ability to Reach, Bend, Stoop and Frequently Lift up to 50 lbs Required
•Basic Kitchen Skills, Bar, & Drinks Knowledge
•Functioning Knowledge of POS Systems
•Must be 21 Years of age Minimum
•High School Diploma or GED
•2 Years Bar Experience Preferred
•Mixology Course Completion Preferred
•Certification, in Servsafe
Responsibilities
•Prepare Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Beverages for patrons
•Engage with guests to determine their drink preferences and make recommendations and upsell customers to
premium selections when appropriate
•Check Identification of ALL GUESTS
•Develop new cocktail recipes
•Maintain a clean work environment by removing trash, cleaning tables / Bar and washing glasses/ utensils and
equipment
•Take inventory of bar produce and alcohol on hand and communicate with management for purchasing
•Plan drinking menu and pairings with Chef and Manager
•Identify new and trending cocktails that will pair with menu items
•Support service staff by preparing ordered beverages
•Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned

Pay: From $14.44 per hour
